Hello everyone!
I know that many in the US are upset over the fact that this pandemic has blocked us from seeing Emma on the silver screen. It is frustrating, but what can we do, we need to protect ourselves and each other in this trying time.
However, don't be discouraged. I have discovered that many movies that were supposed to come out in the theaters are being shown on Amazon Prime Video with a rental fee, including Emma!!
With subscriptions on Amazon Prime, you can find many Jane Austen adaptations, so I think we have her covered for most of us!!
I am sure that many have been taking this time to re-read for the millionth time the novels. Thank you Miss Austen!!
I think that this was the PERFECT time for Emma to come out again. We are now going through a social change in the way we greet each other, and it looks like they style of Jane Austen's time has finally come back to life in a few ways! Our favorite time in history is now back in fashion after 200+ years!!
I think we should don our Regency era gloves and go out and bow to our neighbors al la Miss Eliza Bennett style, what do you think?
